Movin' On Up!

Well, after the latest round of NCAA games, I have made an amazing come-back, and am not in the bottom half of the list! Well, actually, one of my three entries is pretty far down, but it is my "Sympathy Pool," where I picked my Alma Mater and the local university to win (both big upsets), so I wasn't really expecting it to do well. My other two entries are 8 and 11!! Not too bad! I have to be in the top three to qualify for the "fabulous prizes," but I am at least not scraping the bottom of the barrel!!

Other scoop...I have been a Pampered Chef machine lately and have HOSTED two shows in the past 48 hours! That's right - hosted. As in cleaned my house and got my 2-year-old out of the house long enough to keep the place clean and presentable, have people over, make a recipie, eat, shop, and order! If these two shows were for a real commission, it would be a great week for me. But, both are fundraisers. One is for an organization I am in that helps support women in education. The other was for my church. I am donating all of my commission and the host benefits to the organizations, which is great for them, and is a great way for me to serve in a different way than usual. I enjoyed both shows though, and we have fun raising money for important projects, so it is a good reason to be tired!

The only other thing I know is that we are pondering another addition to our family (of the 2-legged variety, not another pet!), but current finances aren't letting that seem to be an option. We are praying for The Lord's guidance and patiently waiting to hear what he tells us to do. Either way, we are content with what we have been blessed with and will be satisfied with His answer.

Thinking of you, my Iowa fuss-bucket! You are in the home-stretch...a new form of exhaustion is on its way - be willing to leave your room a mess so that you are ready for the responsibilities that are on the way!! You can always make it a creative problem solving activity with the kids to have them help!!

Nothing To Report

Well, Things have been pretty quiet around here, so, in the absence of any scoop, I haven't made any posts in a while! So sorry, my Ready-To-Pop Panther!

We are actively potty training our two-year-old right now, so it seems that every few minutes we are escorting our munchkin to the bathroom in hopes of a successful trip. She was doing great last week, but wasn't very successful this weekend, which isn't good. We are hoping things will go better this week so that we can officially end the diaper parade that is our every-two-week trek to Target.

In other news, I am in a NCAA pool at my office - 3 entries. I am not last, but pretty close! I realized that my lack of attention during basketball season this year resulted in me having NO IDEA who to pick!! Oh well, it has been fun none the less, and I am at least not last. I would have been near the top if my Alma Mater had been able to hit a last minute three to win the game. **Sigh** None the less, Love and Honor to Miami....!

Well, it is official. I am starving! I have had 5 points today, which means I have 19 more to go for the day!! It is lunch time and I feel positive I could eat the entire McDonald's menu and be happy, but I am going to be good. It will be worth it in the end...

In the meantime...I am HUNGRY!!!!!!

We had a good weekend though - my daughter had a great time at the Aquarium this weekend (where we saw penguins!!) and we had great sermons Sunday - I am ready for a good week.
